WATCH D.O.G.S.

WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) - Engage men, inspire children, reduce bullying and enhance the educational environment at your school. 

WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) - Is the father involvement initiative of the National Center for Fathering that organizes fathers and father figures in order to provide positive male role models for the students and to enhance school security. Today, more than 3,793 active programs in 46 states participate in the WATCH D.O.G.S. Program.

Who are Watch D.O.G.S.? Fathers, grandfathers, step-fathers, uncles, and other father figures who volunteer to serve at least one day a year in a variety of school activities as assigned by the school principal or other administrator.

Steps to join Grace Miller Watch D.O.G.S.Top of Page

 
Step 1: TB Test
Submit a current (within four years) TB clearance

Step2: Fingerprint Clearance
DOJ clearance is required.

Step 3: Volunteer Application
New Bonita Unified School District Volunteers must complete the Volunteer Application.

Step 4: Watch D.O.G.S. t-shirts!
All Watch D.O.G.S. will need to wear a Watch DOGS shirt on the day they volunteer. We have a few to borrow, but you can also purchase your own.

Step 5:
Email: gmwatchdogs@gmail.com and give us a heads up on the date that you are volunteering. (Watch D.O.G.S. Hall of Fame in the Grace Miller Cafeteria;  
You and your student(s) will get your picture up there on the day you volunteer!)
